Top Secret! No Peeking!!!
This mission took a while. There were smoke bombs and gunfire was even exchanged (ummm...ok it was firecrackers, but convincing none the less). A spy hid in the woods to capture the raid on video.
With a sigh of relief the soldiers made it back to headquarters with a recovered chest of candy. There was much excitement and discussion of how the loot would be divided. Even young recruits wanted in on the action.

All was well and then, I tried to take portraits. Let me just say, my mission of taking a group portrait was NOT a complete success. The troops were getting tired by then and didn't share in the excitement of my creative idea. Oh well. Just a few squinty eyes and wriggly bodies but they are so darn cute, so who cares?!
The non- mobile are always reliable to sit for a picture though. And there will be plenty more opportunities.
Fall Break 2008 had to come to an end. God gave us the most perfect weather so that we could really enjoy our time together. As I overheard Bea tell Christopher, "You're making memories." Happy memories for everyone.
