The kids have been sick. Jarrett missed five days of school, finally going to the doctor on the 9th, where they did a chest x-ray. He had walking pneumonia and bronchitis. By the end of the week, Jacob starting running fever and coughing then Emma had a strange hack. We decided before the weekend we should take both of them to see the doctor also. Jacob was prescribed an antibiotic but they thought Emma was fine for now. As of today, the boys are better, but Emma is not up to par. She's really congested and just isn't her usual happy self.
This ushers in Hurricane Ike. The wind has started to blow here and the rain is heavier now. Jesse has been in touch with his boss and those at Sun & Ski headquarters in Houston. They all are fine, but his boss is worried about his new yacht...at Galveston Bay!
Jesse is going back to work Monday and looking forward to getting back to the store.
